As a Senior Designer at Overlap, Cherise helps organizations build capacity for human-centred design through facilitating training labs and delivering compelling, research-driven narratives. Her passion for design is informed by her experience working with diverse audiences to develop strategic plans and marketing initiatives within the public and private sectors.

Cherise is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive environment where all voices are heard and all assumptions are challenged. Experience has taught her that diverse perspectives are key to finding creative solutions to complex problems. She holds a Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Communication Design from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University.
