As a Senior Designer with Overlap Associates, Lee is an expert in problem solving, creative process, and collaboration. He is a natural leader who enables people to find unique solutions to complex problems by creating space for individuals to have a voice in decision-making processes. With 15+ years of experience as a designer, facilitator, artist, and producer – Lee values creativity as an essential tool in all areas of life. Lee’s passion for learning and course offerings was developed at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity where he was responsible for the design and delivery of arts and leadership programs.
Lee holds a BFA in Theatre and Creative Writing from the University of Victoria, a graduate diploma in Arts and Cultural Management from Grant MacEwan University, and a CUA40720 Certificate IV in Graphic Design from The Graphic Design School. He is a descendant of British settlers living on the Treaty 7 lands of the Îyârhe Nakoda – comprised of the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Wesley First Nations – as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Blackfoot Confederacy – comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai – and the Métis Nation (Region 3), in the municipality now known as Canmore, Alberta.
