Matthew Morales

Designer, Projects

Matthew works as a Designer on the Projects team at Overlap and brings an interdisciplinary lens to his work. His education and experience in fine arts and communications shape the way he sees complex systems operating in the world. It allows him to approach design research, sense-making and foresight practices with creativity. He strongly holds to the notion of ontological design—when we implement design in our world, it designs us back. Matthew holds a Master of Peace and Conflict Studies from Conrad Grebel University College and the University of Waterloo, and has an HBA in Art & Art History and Professional Communications from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
